Livin' La Bahama Loca

It's true!  We are officially moving to the Bahamas!!

When this idea was first introduced to us, Andrew's and mine first reaction, was how anyone else would have responded, "That would be Awesome!"  Then reality hit us both and our next thought was "that will probably Not happen." Hahaha

We didn't know much about it and were inquiring about the opportunity.  Finally, we were approached with a chance to go and check it out, to see for ourselves if this would, in fact, interest us.

It wasn't exactly a normal vacation.  We were exploring for sure, but about where Andrew would work and what he would be doing;  The options of places we could live, checking out the small 7-11 sized grocery store, living on a mile and a half by 7 mile island, with no hospitals, and not much to do.  We also did a little snorkeling, and visited a few different beaches and walked around, and saw the most Gorgeous blue green ocean you could ever imagine, met some Wonderful people and enjoyed church on Sunday.  We rode golf carts everywhere because the island is too small for cars.  Little did we know we were on our way to a new life changing style and soon to be, new place to call home.

Church was Amazing! Even though it was short, partly due to the fact that there was 10 Adults, 9 Kids and 1 Baby, (half of that being visitors), you could feel the spirit Sooo strong.  I gained a stronger testimony at that moment, of how real our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, are and how the Holy Ghost can testify of the truthfulness to us no matter where we are, or where we live.  It took everything in me to keep tears from falling down my cheeks from what I was feeling.  We were in a house, partaking of the sacred ordinance of the sacrament and enjoying talks from each other. It was very organized and very inspiring.

Going through Pros and Cons and what out weighed each, and through much prayer, fasting and going to the temple, Andrew and I both felt that this was the next step in our lives. Definitely an adventure awaiting for us.

Bahamas here we come!!

Some pictures of where we are moving to...

Then it was our turn to explore.

Face timing a sick little Conner and Tyson

Dylan seemed to recognize our faces and voices.

Driving around some more, exploring this little island they call Great Guana Cay.

So sad to say Goodbye, but we couldn't help but Smile and talk about the place the whole way back!! We had such an Amazing time on such a Beautiful island!
