It is Very Green there with a Lot of yellow flowers
They have these cool signs that Welcome you to every Village.

So the first place we went to was a place called Rottenburg, Germany. I loved this place!!! It's very old and ancient looking. It's got cobble stone roads. I Love these kinds of places!!
So this kind of shows you the cobble streets and the type of houses they live in.

This one reminds me of a coo-coo clock. When the little people come out of the clock to greet. This one just opens the doors so you can see the people, but the clock is Huge!

We went on a Night Watchmen's Tour. This guy was our guide. He showed and told us all about Rottenburg and how it came to be. Almost all of it was bombed and then people around the world helped put it back together. So now it is a Huge touristy place, and I LOVE it!!! :0)

The view of Germany from Rottenburg.

The Marketplace in Rottenburg.

There's this place there called Kathe Wohlfahrt. It's all Christmas inside. Always. Year round. They have the most incredible Christmas stuff in there. Most of it is made out of wood. There's this HUGE wood windmill thing. I can't remember what's it's called... but it's made of all wood. I guess it's got candle and when you light them it makes the windmill at top spin and the wooden people move around the inside of the thing. It's really cool. There was also nutcracker's Everwhere! Of all different kinds. We weren't supposed to take pictures inside, but we snuck a few :0) This place was HUGE!! You've got to go inside it. I thought it was neverending.

So if I stood up next to this windmill I would come up a little past the first platform. That's how Big it is. We couldn't even get the top which has the actual windmills.
I loved these little walk ways.

There is this food called: schneeballen. Everyone was telling us that we needed to try them. They are everywhere in Rottenburg. They looked pretty good. Andrew I didn't care much for them lol but I think it's something that becomes aquired. There were so many different kinds. And that applejuice... yes it is sparkling. We forgot to ask for no bubbbles. lol

I've always wanted to take a picture like this. :0)
This was our hotel we stayed at. It took us Forever to find it. lol We even drove on the wrong side of the road. Oops. They didn't like that too much.

Frankfurt, Germany. It was a lot of city. This was almost normal... Besides no one speaking English and they parked on the sidewalks.
Then we found the Old city of Frankfurt.

Going down the Rhine River. We saw about 15 castles or so.

One of the many many castles we saw.
Marksburg castle. This one we actually toured inside. We got there and got a German tour. So they gave us an English book to Try and follow along with. I think we figured out most of it. It was pretty funny I'm sure for people to watch us and try to follow along flipping through the pages trying to find the history behind what was being said in German. We heard a lot of Oooows and Ahhhhs... and laughing. lol
So the Autobahn was cool the signs look like the ones below. The X means No Speed Limit. Andrew Loved that (even though our car couldn't go that fast). Watching the other cars FLY past us was pretty cool though. We were going about 100 MPH. They had to have been doubling that. We looked stand still next to them. The circled 60 was the speed limit for the lanes. It was fun driving down the autobahn.

They have there gas stations right off the freeway, you can kind of tell in this picture. I thought that was very smart. I don't know we don't do that here in America.
We got lost on our way back to the freeway. We ended up in traffic, which was a lot like California traffic. We thought we were going to miss our flight. Thank goodness for Andrew. I don't know how he figured it out, with everything being in German, but he got us back. It doesn't look quite as bad seeing as it's only one lane, but it was going nowhere as does CA traffic.

Ausfahrt means Exit. :0)
Off to Italy.
