We had All of our family here for Christmas this year!!! It was Sooo much fun!!!

We got together with my dad side and my mom side of the family which is Always fun!

We did our own little Nativity scene with all the grandkids on Christmas Eve, (I'm Super sad I didn't get a picture with all of them in it). It was pretty funny though, because they are all still really little.

And this was the Very First year Andrew and I had Christmas at our own place. It was kind of weird, but SO much fun to see how excited Conner got about all his presents and basketball hoop. I was Really excited that I remembered to charge our video camera the night before, only to realize Christmas morning that we had No space left!! So we took videos with our phones instead, hopefully it does justice.

Just about every year my mom gives Andrew something Angels... and Andrew gives my mom something Dodgers. So this year Andrew gave this picture of Conner all dressed up in Dodgers stuff and printed it and put it in a magnet so she had to hang it on her fridge. We all got a pretty good laugh. We ended up with a Rally monkey from my mom! Go Angels!! :0)

Conner had fun opening his presents this year. Every time he unwrapped his gift he would say, "It's Stuck!" He wanted to play with his toys before opening another present. Lol

I Love this time of year!! Not only do we Love spending time with family, but also remembering the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. I hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas!! We did!

Thoughts for the Day...

Okay, so I already posted this on my Facebook, but I thought I would record it also on here.

A few thoughts for this morning!... I'll go, Good, bad, and then end off on Great news!!

1). Realized Late last night that I am finally 20 weeks!!! Yay!!! Hopefully, my due date won't change come my 20 wk appt.

2). I REALLY wish my son was interested in being potty trained!!!! He managed AGAIN to undue his diaper, while he is still zipped up in his Backwards sleeper and get his poop all ...over the crib...inside and outside of it!! That was a Wonderful surprise this morning! (It's kind of sad to think that my not yet 2 year old son has out smarted us Way too many times all ready with his obsession with his poop)

3). My sisters get into town today and my brother will be here tomorrow!!! Yay for having All the family together again!!! Love it!!! :0)

Baby Boy #2

So I have a lot of people wanting me to update this and put pictures up of my pregnancy. So here's just a couple that I have...

This is how we did our announcement to our family!! We actually did it a few different ways:

1). I printed this picture and modge podged it on popsicle sticks, and sent them to my in-laws to do the puzzle.

2). Went online and made the picture into a jig-saw puzzle and emailed my family the puzzle and had them figure it out.

3). I just put this picture up on my Facebook for everyone else to see!!

4). And then let my belly do the rest for whoever doesn't have a Facebook or isn't on as often (like me) and (considering I can't hide my belly for too long...hence 2 pictures down) :0)

Here is the little peanut at 11 weeks. Just a check up to make sure everything was looking good! It wasn't until after this ultrasound though that we finally started telling our family and then friends after that.

Here I am at 18 weeks (I know, I look like I should be due in a month or two. I popped out Really early with Conner too!!) I can't seem to hide this belly for too long with any pregnancy! Lol

I know I've kind of done these posts backwards. I'm just kind of playing catch up. Soon I'll have my 20 week appointment and I'll update again and put up more recent pictures.

BOY!!!

So, I know I have a Lot to catch up on, but for now we've got some exciting news!! We just found out that we are going to have... Another BOY!!! We are Sooo excited!! Conner is going to have a little brother come May!!

We found out a little early. I'm only about 17 weeks along, but I couldn't wait! I feel like I've been waiting Forever for this, and our appointment was Sooo late in the day. I tried to keep myself busy all day! Lol Now I can't wait for the 20 week appointment to tell us just how Healthy this little boy is. He seems like he is growing and developing well right now! This ultrasound they didn't check anything beside the gender, but it was nice to see the little guy moving around and watching him inside of me! He looks healthy and looks like he's got all his toes and fingers. Lol That's enough reassurance for me right now! I'm not going to lie, that was kind of the other reason why I wanted to find out early what we were having... so I could just see the baby again. Watch him, and know that he is still there and growing. I thank the Lord everyday for this little tiny baby he has blessed me with inside of my belly. Now if May could just come already so I don't have to worry as much, that would be Great! Lol :0)

Halloween 2011

I think Conner had a fun time dressing up this year. He didn't mess with his hat at all! I think he was more excited about the candy!! Lol

We borrowed this outfit from my sister-in-law. This was her son's outfit that she put together and made when he was about Conner's age. We procrastinated this year and some of us weren't feeling very well ('tis the season!) We were just Sooo glad Amber had something that would fit Conner!! Thanks Amber and Chad for letting us borrow this, this year!!! :0)

We also went to Chad and Amber's housing track Halloween night. Around the corner there's part of their neighborhood that's completely decorated!! A family owns a few of the houses there and does a theme every year for Halloween. This year was a Fairy Tale/Disney theme. The guy throws down about $250,000. to decorate a bunch of these houses. Not only does he decorate them, but he puts on a few haunted mazes and had some live performances and they handed out Huge candy bars and glow sticks. There were Soooo many people there, we felt like we were at an Amusement park. I think we'll be coming back next year though, it's Totally worth it!!

Andrew has the pictures on his phone, so hopefully I can get some and post some up later. Until then I just have 2 pictures of Conner.

Potty Training???....

So lately Conner has had this little infatuation with taking off his diaper and going to the bathroom. It has happened on So many occasions now that I have stopped counting! It's happened in his crib, his pack n' play, his grandmother's pack n' play, and on the floor of his bedroom to name a few places. We have tried EVERYTHING!!! We've taped his diaper on. We've put him in a onesie. We've put him in a zip up sleeper. Now he is in his onesie sleeper but we have to put it on backwards so he can't un-zip it. That so far has been the most helpful. Now, we just got to figure out how to keep his clothes on during the day without keeping him in a onesie forever. Which takes me to my next idea....

POTTY TRAINING!!!

So my question for all of you is How do you train a 20 month old to potty train when they can hardly communicate with you as it is?!

This wasn't entirely my idea, actually a lot of people came to me asking if I thought about training Conner. I thought maybe 18 months was a little young... I'm still wondering if 20 months is a great idea.

I bought a little toilet for Conner that makes sounds when we goes in the toilet, but he thinks it's a toy! Of course, what else would he think it is?! Needless to say, I haven't Really tried to potty train this kid yet. Any tips?! :0)

Family Reunion 2011-The River

This year for our family reunion we did a River trip. We all met at the Colorado River, where Amber's family has a place there. It was So nice of them to let us come and stay for a week! Thanks again!!! It's Always fun to go back! There's a Ton of pictures so I totally understand if you just want to skim through it all. A lot happened while we were there, so I kind of wanted to put everything in (more for journaling purposes).

Here's everyone except Andrew. He couldn't make it out until the end of the trip and Alissa and Clint only had the very beginning of the trip to be there. I think we might try and photo shop him in there one of these days. For now, this is Almost the whole family ;0)

Okay, so to explain a few things...

My dad was slalom skiing (that's when one foot is in front of the other on 1 ski) when he took a Really bad fall which ended in taking him to the emergency room that night. He tore and ripped a few ligaments and tendons in his foot. This happened pretty much in the beginning of this trip so he was pretty bummed not being able to play as much out in the water and being on crutches the rest of the time. He was a good sport about it all though.

We also celebrated my dad's birthday while we were there. His birthday and Andrew's brother Matt share the same birthday!!

The relay race...

Ok, so, the relay race was fun don't get me wrong....

What we had to do: Canoe upstream to the neighbors, turn around to our rock cliff, climb up, spin around with our head on a bat 6 times, jump off the rock float to the rope.... which was attached to the dock about 20 ft, then Extended another 40 ft from what we believe was estimated.... going against the River and pulling ourselves all the way to the boat (did I mention this was against the flow of the River?), climb up dive back in the water towards the rock cliff (still going against the River flow) and pushing the canoe off for the next team member. Well, this was a LOT more difficult than we all expected one of us nearly drowned so we shortened the rope and still some of us barely made that. It was an exhausting relay race to say the Least! I think we might be modifying that even more next time... if there's a next time. Lol

All in all it was Sooo much fun!! We got away from our worries of life and were able to relax and enjoy the warm weather and warm water and play!! We all had such a Wonderful time!! Can't wait to see what our next vacation will be like next year with all of us again!

4th of July in Idaho :0)

This year we made our way up to Idaho for the 4th of July. Andrew's family gets together every year to celebrate. Some of my grandparents served in the military and Andrew's dad served in the Air Force, so this holiday has Great meaning to us all, and of course to our country!! Every year Andrew's family goes to their Lake house in McCall to celebrate and watch the firework show. We all Love being in McCall. It gets us away from our daily and busy lives to spend time with each other and remember the sacrifices that our troops in the military do for us and this country. I am proud to be an American!!! :0)

Every year the Albright's come down to Newport Beach and stay for about a week and we've had the pleasure of meeting up with them last year and this year to hang out for a bit. We got some fun pictures of Kherrington and Conner playing at the beach.

So my little sister, Alissa, just got married in the Newport Beach Temple yesterday. She is now Alissa Prestwich, which is still crazy for me to get used to. Utah Trip (OCMCO)

I had a Really cool and once in a life time opportunity to go to Utah and sing in the Mormon Tabernacle!! I'm in a choral group called Orange County Mormon Choral Organization (OCMCO) My director, Brett Stewart, wrote an Oratorio for when Christ came to the America's. Most of the information came from the Book of Mormon in 3 Nephi. It is such an Amazing piece! Brett is Very talented and knows A LOT about music. I wish you could have all been there with us as we performed. It was a spiritual and uplifting experience.

Young women's Overnight

Most of the YW in our ward have to pass off a bunch of stuff before going to Girl's Camp. So we did an our own little camp out for one night. The girls made dinner and dessert, and we hiked and used compasses. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures as you can see, but I did get some of us trying to do the pyramid. Which was pretty funny.

We had a pretty good Easter this year. We were able to spend Easter this year with Deborah and Greg and their kids and we had a lot of fun!

Here's Conner's Easter basket. We had him look for the eggs. He figured out that the plastic ones had candy in it and then Loved looking for them! He would shake them and then hand them to us to open so he could eat what was inside.

This year we went over to Deborah and Greg'sto dye our hard boiled eggs for Easter. It was Sooo much fun to see Max and Cole dying their eggs. They were Loving it!! They got Super creative and they turned out So well!

We took Conner to the beach today and he Loved it!! He LOVES the water! I think he'll be our little water baby. He had So much fun playing in the sand with his cousins too. He didn't care that he was sandy from head to toe!

Yup that's right! My little boy is ONE! It's hard to believe that I had this little guy a year ago. I didn't plan the day out right for his b-day though...Lol... I made his Happy Birthday Banner which took me all day! I had help from my mom, Emily and a few calls to Amber...ok so a Lot of calls to Amber Lol... My mom made Conner's cake, which I failed at decorating it. lol

But, the party was fun and we saw Lots of family and had Good food! Now here are some pictures to enjoy!

This year Conner and I celebrated New Year's at Kt and Pat's. Even though Andrew wasn't around and we missed him a lot, we still had a lot of fun with Kt, Pat, the kids and Kacy! So I made it to Betty's wedding! I missed my first flight, but they put me on a second one. It was a crazy snow storm! Conner and I definitely felt some turbulance.

Okay, So I know I haven't updated in Forever. Between Christmas, moving into our apartment, a bunch of us getting sick, birthdays and settling in... etc. I Really have been wanting to post on here but we don't exactly have internet to do so. Practically Family!

Andrew served his mission in New Zealand as most of you know. Recently, we had the blessing of having Espee here in the U.S. Espee was Andrew's 2nd mom. She basically took care of Andrew while he was away from his mother for 2 years. Espee is such a sweet and kind lady. With the very short amount of time I was able to spend with her I know she is a woman of Great faith, someone who cherish's her family, a very giving lady, and one of the sweetest persons I have ever met.

My nephew Max just turned 4, and for his birthday he had a bounce house shaped like a castle. He Loved it!! It had a slide and a huge area to bounce around in. Edison VS Fountain Valley!!

Every year Edison and F.V. play against each other for "The Bell". It's a Huge rivalry game and So much fun to be at!
I actually attended both of these High Schools. I went to Edison my 1st year and then finished at F.V.
My little sister, Emily, is attending Edison so I figured I would support her and their team and dressed up our family in Green.

So for Halloween this year we decided to dress Conner up as a Punk Rocker boy! We had Sooo much fun! His costume turned out a lot better than I thought it would. We had a Trunk or Treat down at the church building, which was pretty fun! I attempted to decorate the inside of our car, which didn't turn out that great. It was fun trying though.

Okay, so after our Trunk or Treat we went to my brother's Trunk or Treat to see them in their costumes! They were The Incredible's. It turned out Super cute! Sorry I wish I had a picture to share of their costumes.
Well, while we were there they had this huge square of the parking lot sectioned off. Music came on and all these zombies came in the square from just about every side. Which led into Thriller!! So tonight for my little sister's mutual they did a "Where's Waldo?" search. The Young Women and Young Men in our ward look for about 8-10 people in the ward that are "dressed up" and try to find them.

Andrew and I were one of them and I dressed up as a biker and Andrew dressed up...well, we're not quite sure what he was. We thought we were more like bikers, they thought we were pirates. We had so much fun!! Here are some pictures from tonight.

General Conference Weekend...

The church I go to is, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We just had the 180th Annual General Conference for our church this last weekend. It's held in the Conference Center in Salt Lake, UT. It marks 180 years since the Church was organized. Every 6 months we have the Prophet and the apostles speak to us. Those who are able to attend can meet at the Conference Center, but it's also broadcasted across the world.

Anyway, after Conference was over we realized how flexible Conner is so...

we decided to try it ourselves. Emily and

dad. We realized he isn't quite as flexible or maybe it's his equilibrium that's off. We're not so sure. Lol

Poor dad probably has a good size knot on the back of his head. We were trying Sooo hard not to laugh, but none of us were successful, even my dad.

Oh and Happy 8 months to Conner!! Wow! Time flies Way too fast!

If you look really hard you can see his 2 bottom teeth and 1 of his 4 top teeth. I've been trying to get pictures of all of his teeth for Sooo long. This is 1/2 of them in 1 picture! Yay!!

Emily and I dropped off one of her friends at their house one day, and coming back to our house stopped at a stop light and I put the car in "park".

Andrew and I took a trip to AZ earlier this month. We went and visited some friends while we were there and had Sooo much fun!! I'm bummed because I hardly took any pictures while we were there. This summer has been fun! Even though it's been a pretty cold one we still made it to the beach a few times, we've hung out with family, went to some Angels games and have explored California as much as we could.

Today I woke up and Conner and I are still sick. I didn't know you could catch a cold in the Summer time. Conner is still teething and has been attacked by some creature that loves to leave their trade mark all over his face. But, Conner did sleep about 8 hours last night and I think that is record!! Being around family means Fun, Love, and babysitters :0) And Andrew has a job that can only mean a future for us in one way or another!! We wouldn't have it any other way right now! We enjoy being here and everyday is an adventure!

Just a few things that happened before we moved to California.

We had some visitors... Madison came up and hung out with us for a few days. We have to go to a Rodeo!! We gotta find her a Cowboy! :0) Polly came with her hubby Santino and her Beautiful boy, Eli! Katie and I were room mates with her when we lived at the PJ house!

For my birthday Andrew took me to Tucanos! It was Sooo Good! I can't remember the last time I ate there! I use to work there and that was my favorite boss.

We were able to see some family before we left. And it was my Grandpa Pitt's birthday!! Love you! <3

Catch Up? ...

K. So I know I have Sooo much catching up to do. But I Really don't like trying to do that. So, I am going to talk about today.

I figured out today that Conner is allergic to Enfamil Formula. So Sad! He actually got most of it on his face and neck than in his mouth. 2 minutes later anywhere the milk touched it turned red and into a pin point rash with swelling and bumps. Now I've never seen hives, but I now have an idea what it might look like. Luckily, the worst of it went away pretty fast.
I called my Pediatrician and the nurse said it's all trial and error. She told me not to give him Enfamil anymore cuz he probably is allergic, and to try something else like Similac. If it happens again I've gotta call them back and figure something out.

Other than that, Conner is moving all over the place. Rolling and scooting... He gets up on all fours, but still hasn't mastered crawling yet.
As soon as we can figure out how to put video footage on from our camcorder, we will. :0)

Surf City, CA is home for now...

It's official. Our prayers have been answered!! I know I'm a little late posting this, better late than never. We now live in the HB of CA!! And it all happened Sooo fast.

I know this is a pretty lengthy post. Sorry.

One of Andrew's buddies Zack, works at a place that was hiring for another position like his. He called Andrew up, told him to send in his resume to the company. So after three attempts of sending his resume to the company, the last one finally went through and Andrew got a call just a few minutes after sending the resume.

The boss liked what he saw and offered Andrew the position. He actually wanted Andrew to start that week, but Andrew and him came to the agreement of starting in 2 weeks. So we packed everything up in about a week and a half and drove down to CA.

I was lucky to have my sister, Katie, help me with the drive. She came in the car with me and Conner, while Andrew drove the 4Runner pulling the trailer that was packed with everything that we own. It was like old times with her being there with me. We had a Blast reminiscing on life. Singing to the select music that was available. lol Talking about life and enjoying each others company. We had Sooo much fun! :0)

About 9 hours later we finally made it to State line where we stopped for the night and then started up again the next morning. About 4-5 hours & we finally made it home.

We didn't have time to find a place right away to live so my parents (are Amazing!!) and are letting us stay with them. Especially, right after they moved to a new home. Emily has also been a trooper because we took her room for the time being. Thanks Em you're the Best! It's been So nice to be back by the beach, even if it has been overcast almost everyday since we got here lol

We are excited to be finally moving on with our lives and taking the next step. Andrew has been working really hard and learning lots with this new job and he Loves it! ...Which makes it all that much more enjoyable and worth it.

Thanks everyone who helped us get ready and move. We couldn't have done it without you!!

Andrew and I know that this is where we are supposed to be right now. The Lord has been watching over us and guiding us. He has helped us out every step of the way and I know it is because of him that we are here. We are doing well and love taking on this next new adventure in our lives. We have been poured upon with blessings from the Lord and I try and Thank him everyday for all that he has done for us!

Memorial Day Weekend

So for Memorial day weekend, Andrew, myself and Conner headed up to Boise Idaho to be with Andrew's family. We had a fun time hanging out with his family and some of our friends. We took advantage of some of the Sales that were going on that weekend. Also, we did some fun traditions that Andrew's family does as well like going down to the cemetery and putting flowers on the graves of our relatives. Conner wasn't too sure what to think about his first time going in the pool. lol Well, hopefully these pictures turn out. It uploaded differently than it usually does.

I LOVE Hawaii!! You should all go! :0) We weren't there long enough. Conner actually did Really well, we were impressed! We stayed with Andrew's cousin Kelsey and her husband Kia and their cute little girl Lauren. They were Sooo kind to let us stay with them for a couple of days. They showed us all around the island and places that the locals go to for eating, snorkeling, and everything else. Then we stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Waikiki. We had Sooo much fun!! I couldn't get enough. I didn't want to leave when the time came. Which almost happen when we got to the airport and found out our flight had been canceled due to complications. Unfortunately, there were other flights available going to LAX that same day. Well, enjoy the pictures~!!

Conner is getting big! He is starting to interact with us more and show his personality. He laughed for the 1st time last week and I finally got him to laugh again this morning. He's still trying to figure it out I guess. His 2 month charts stated:

Weight 11.6 lbs = 46.1%

Length 23.25 in = 61.57%

Head Cir. 15.25 in = 21.29%

He's getting better at his tummy time and lifting his head up

So I'm always coming up with excuses as to why I'm not creative. I have finally coped with the idea that if I want to make something it's more than likely not going to be something that I made up on my own. I have to get my ideas from someone else first and copy it. And I am finally okay with that. Also, expenses, time, and space. I'm always saying I don't have the time or money... I definitely have the time (especially now that I'm at home all day), money... well, it's less expensive (usually) to make than to buy. Space, now that is my biggest factor right now. I keep saying to myself, once we move into a bigger place I will start, but really?!

I saw this on a blog I came across, and thought it was Super cute! I've been trying to find a way to hang up or store my necklaces and earrings. Maybe I'll try something like this.

This lady made the earring display by framing some scraps of lace.

The one for studs is just some old fabric in a cross-stitch loop.

She made this print on the computer, borrowing an idea from a good friend. Which also seems to be a fun website to go to, to get some good and creative ideas.

And the necklace hanger was on clearance at Urban Outfitters.
Well, it might be awhile for me to put this together. First, I need to make the space in our room. We might need to move first :0)

Hawaii...

Okay, so I just posted about 5 different posts. They are spread out between pages, so feel free to go back some if you'd like.

So we decided. We are going to Hawaii in May!!! Andrew found a Stellar deal online. I have been Super nervous about it and questioning it with a new baby. But we have been doing TONS of research. I called and talked to the Pediatrician's nurse and then when we went in to see the Pediatrician I talked to him about it as well. They both said it was Totally fine to take Conner with us. My biggest fear is the 5-6 hour plane ride, but they both said he should be just fine. Now I'm getting REALLY excited to go. I've never been to Hawaii and I've always wanted to go. Andrew has a cousin out there that we are going to probably stay with for a couple of days. They were So nice to offer us into their home and stay with them. I've never met them so I am really excited about that as well. I keep looking at all the pictures of Hawaii that I see and I can't wait. I also Love hearing about it from other people who have been there. I obviously haven't heard anything bad about Hawaii... how could anyone?! Just look at these pictures...

Conner's Photo Shoot

So we did our own little photo shoot with Conner. It was interesting. lol We gave Conner a bath and then decided to do some naked shots... in which it didn't last very long considering he peed all over the blankets. lol So we then put a diaper on, which we probably should have done in the first place, because you can't really tell in some of the pictures. As you can see, he really didn't like being positioned for the pictures. We tried to take them when he fell asleep in my arms later, but he woke up right away when we tried to position him again. Anyway, enjoy!! :0)

The set up... This blanket was knitted by Andrew's mom. I Love it! So I Really wanted to use it for this. Thanks again Grandma Yogi!! :0)

Of course we have to get some shots like this... with the football and BYU. My sister, Katie, actually made the BYU burp cloth. She did a Wonderful job!! I'm surrounded by artistic women on both sides of our families!! I Love it!! :0)

Conner kept pushing himself with his legs against the basket like he was trying to get out. He was over the whole photo shoot and I guess. lol

It's been awhile...

Okay, so it's been awhile since I've posted. So sorry. I've actually been sick. This weekend I came down with a bad cold, so I haven't felt up to do anything. I'm going to separate some of the posts though. So feel free to scroll down a little ways to view them all. :0)

Conner has many many faces that he makes. People are always commenting on the different facial expressions that he makes. These are just a few of them.
He wasn't so sure what to think about the Bjorn.

Tim-Tams...

Last night our friends came over to hang out. They brought us some dinner and then for dessert, we did something called Tim Tam Slams!! It's a New Zeland and Australian thing. You used to only be able to get Tim Tams in their countries. Now you can actually get the real deal here in the U.S. Andrew served his mission in New Zeland so he was Stoked about the Tim Tams!

Okay do these not look Soooo Goooood!!!! They are!

We had a Lot of fun with Chad and Ashley! They were real troopers! They'll tell you it's Sooo Good!!! If you wanna know what to do, you'll have to come on over and try it!! It's a Ton of fun and it's Best when you eat it the right way! :0)

Dr.s Appointment

Conner had his 2 week Dr.'s appointment today!
As of today our Conner is 8 lbs 9 oz. and 21 inches long.
He is in the 40% for his head and weight and 60% for his height. He is a growing boy to say the least. We all know he LOVES to eat!!! lol

but twice... lol

Daddy does exercises with Conner to help him with his gas. Conner's gas. :0) It actually helps a Ton!

The other day we saw Conner looking at himself in mirror of his swing. He would look away and then look at himself again and again. It was pretty funny. He is already Sooo observant.
